Job Description We are looking for an experienced CNC Router Programmer & Operator to join our team. This full-time position is a great opportunity for someone passionate about craftsmanship and precision; and interested in working on some of the most detailed and design-driven projects in the Charleston area. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine project requirements
- Operate and understand CAD software programs
- Program, operate, and maintain CNC router
- Knowledge of various materials
- Understand fabrication process and available machine tooling options
- Familiar with various hand tools, power tools, and machinery
- Cut and mill raw materials
- Construct and assemble cabinetry, furniture, and millwork
- Sand and prepare components for finish
- Label and organize parts for installation
- Prepare and package finished product for delivery
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace Requirements
- Proven experience in building cabinetry, millwork, and/or furniture or equivalent experience
- Multiple years of experience programing and operating CNC machines in woodworking or similar environment
- Knowledge working with Vectric VCarve, Aspire, Sketchup, or similar software
- Proficiency working with various hardwood, plywood, and veneer materials
- High attention to detail, pride in craftsmanship, and desire for excellence
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to self-manage, work autonomously, and work effectively with others
