CNC Programmer – Mastercam (part of Adecco) 3.8 3.8 out of 5 stars Bellows Falls, VT 05101 Job Overview We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming CNC machines, ensuring precision and quality in the production of components. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and the ability to work with various precision measuring instruments. The CNC Programmer will play a crucial role in optimizing production efficiency and maintaining high standards of quality.
Duties :
Create, review, and edit CNC machining programs using MasterCam. Maintain and update programming databases and files for each part and machining center. Support manufacturing operations by providing input for routers and process flows. Develop and recommend resources and methods for equipment, tooling, materials, and processes. Review older programs and process flows for optimization opportunities to improve cycle times, tool life, and production costs. Design and troubleshoot fixtures and tooling to optimize cycle times and quality. (Solidworks) Create setup sheets and standard tool lists for different cells and parts. Track and evaluate costs and efficiency, including tooling, material, and cycles. Provide training and guidance to machinists, operators, and other team members. Assist in providing information for quotations and contract reviews. Collaborate with engineering and production personnel to improve design manufacturability and minimize part cost. Help machinist set up and proof out the part on shop floor Help quality inspectors perform first article inspections on multi-axis CNC mills and lathes for production and prototype components.
Qualifications:
Programming using Mastercam – 5 years experience. High school diploma or GED, preferably Associates Degree or higher. Proficient in CAD/CAM (MasterCam) or minimum of two years programming experience using MasterCam. Basic shop math and GD&T. Ability to work in and around a manufacturing environment and have no restrictions on wearing safety footwear and protective eyewear.
