This hands-on role involves preparing parts for coating, assisting in the powder coating process, maintaining a clean work area, and learning the powder coating process to serve as backup when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the lead powder coater in daily tasks Hang parts and products for powder coating with attention to safety and quality Carefully remove finished products without causing damage Maintain cleanliness and organization of the powder coating area Learn and perform powder coating duties when the lead coater is unavailable Follow work schedules and instructions from supervisors Safely handle and lift items up to 60-70 pounds
Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 60-70 pounds regularly Must be punctual, self-driven, and able to follow directions Ability to work independently and as part of a team Powder coating experience is a plus but not required—training will be provided
