Aircraft Painter – Helicopter Painting

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Painter with at least 3 years of helicopter painting experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in applying coatings, finishes, and paint to aircraft surfaces, ensuring a high-quality finish while adhering to all safety and technical standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform surface preparation and paint application on helicopters, ensuring a high-quality finish.
Mask, sand, and clean aircraft surfaces prior to painting.
Mix and apply primers, paints, and topcoats using spray equipment.
Ensure that all coatings meet FAA, military, and company standards for durability and appearance.
Inspect finished surfaces for defects and rework as necessary to meet quality standards.
Work with other team members to ensure timely completion of painting projects.
Maintain proper documentation of work completed, including materials used and paint specifications. all safety protocols and company policies while handling hazardous materials and operating equipment.

Job Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of helicopter painting experience in an aviation environment.
Experience with surface preparation, masking, sanding, and spray painting techniques.
Knowledge of aerospace coatings, primers, and topcoats.
Ability to read and follow technical manuals and specifications.
Strong attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality results.
Ability to work in confined spaces and elevated areas when required.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods.
Availability to work Monday to Friday, first shift (5×8 schedule).
