Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Industrial Painter to join our team. The Industrial Painter will be responsible for applying paint, varnish, epoxy, or other coatings to a variety of surfaces including structural steel, machinery, equipment, and buildings. This role ensures surfaces are prepared and coated according to specifications, meeting quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, blasting, or chemical treatments. Apply protective or decorative coatings using spray guns, rollers, or brushes. Mix and match paint or coatings to required specifications. Operate and maintain painting tools, spray equipment, and safety gear. Inspect painted surfaces for uniformity, coverage, and finish quality. Follow all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Interpret work orders, blueprints, or technical drawings to determine painting requirements. Work in confined spaces, at heights, or outdoors as needed. Perform minor maintenance or repairs to painting equipment. Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED preferred. Proven experience as an industrial painter or similar role. Familiarity with airless spray equipment, HVLP sprayers, and industrial coatings. Knowledge of surface preparation and coating application standards (e.g., SSPC, NACE). Ability to read and understand technical documents and safety data sheets (SDS). Physical stamina and the ability to work in challenging environments. Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly. Ability to stand, crouch, or climb for extended periods. Comfortable working in environments with fumes, dust, or elevated noise levels.

$22.79 – $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

Day shift Monday to Friday Weekends as needed
