Sandblaster/Painter DPS Industrial Group, LLC Jacksonville, FL 32218 Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Sandblaster to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing surfaces for painting or finishing by using sandblasting techniques. This role requires a strong understanding of various materials and the ability to operate power tools safely and effectively. The Sandblaster will work primarily on site, ensuring that all tasks are completed to high standards of quality and safety. Duties Operate sandblasting equipment to clean, smooth, or shape surfaces as required. Prepare surfaces by removing old paint, rust, or contaminants using sandblasting techniques. Maintain and troubleshoot sandblasting equipment to ensure optimal performance. Utilize power tools effectively for various tasks related to plastering and frame carpentry. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment. Qualifications Proven experience in sandblasting or related fields such as construction or painting. Familiarity with airless paint spraying techniques is a plus. Ability to operate various power tools safely and efficiently. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
