This position plays a key role in applying high-quality protective and decorative finishes to fiberglass and composite parts. You’ll be responsible for painting with precision, ensuring each part meets our standards for appearance, durability, and performance. This role is ideal for someone with a strong eye for detail, experience in painting, and an interest in growing within the fiberglass manufacturing and restoration field. Responsibilities Apply paint finishes to fiberglass and composite components using automotive spray techniques. Ensure coatings are applied to proper thickness and consistency according to job specifications. Prepare parts by cleaning, sanding, masking, and inspecting surfaces to ensure proper adhesion. Mix and match coatings to required color and finish specifications. Maintain and clean application tools, equipment, and work area. Inspect finished parts for surface quality and correct any defects such as runs, pinholes, or thin spots. Handle all materials and chemicals safely and follow proper PPE protocols. Assist with other general production and finishing tasks as needed. Requirements Prior experience with automotive spray painting is required Familiarity with fiberglass parts or materials is helpful but not required Background in body work, refinishing, or vehicle restoration is a strong plus Solid understanding of surface preparation and coating techniques. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency and quality. Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety guidelines. Positive attitude and ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Willingness to be flexible and assist with other production tasks as needed. Why Join Us?
