Job Description
Painter Coastal Finishes & Coatings Bradenton, FL 34203 We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter with a background in automotive-style finishes to join our creative and fast-paced metal art fabrication shop. While experience in auto body work or powder coating is helpful, this position focuses more on artistic and custom metalwork than traditional automotive work. You’ll be working with aluminum sculptures, decorative pieces, and one-of-a-kind artistic builds — each requiring a careful, professional finish. This is a hands-on role where precision and pride in your work matter every day.
Responsibilities:
Prep and finish aluminum surfaces for painting or powder coating Apply paints and finishes with a consistent, high-quality result (HVLP experience preferred) Tape, mask, and protect surfaces as needed Mix colors and coatings based on project needs Collaborate with the fabrication team on design finish intent Maintain a clean and safe work area Perform final inspection before shipping/install ✅
Qualifications:
Experience in automotive, industrial, or custom painting Comfortable working with aluminum and large 3D forms Strong eye for detail , color , and finish quality Ability to work independently and follow design direction
