$33-35/hr. on W2 Overview We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both industrial and construction painting, demonstrating a strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring that all work meets the highest standards of excellence. The Painter will work closely with other team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary. Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Ensure proper mixing of paints and finishes to achieve desired colors and textures. Inspect completed work for quality assurance and make necessary touch-ups. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, including hand tools and spray guns. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times. Collaborate with team members on project timelines and specifications. Skills Proficiency in industrial painting techniques and construction painting methods. Mechanical knowledge to understand equipment operation and maintenance. Experience with lean manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency in processes. Ability to operate cranes safely when required for high-access projects. Experience working in warehouse settings or similar environments is beneficial. Knowledge of machining processes can be advantageous for specific projects. Competence in using various hand tools effectively for surface preparation and finishing tasks. Fabrication skills may be helpful for custom painting applications or repairs.
