The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and the ability to work with various tools and equipment. This role requires mechanical knowledge and experience with auto painting techniques, ensuring vehicles are finished to the highest standards. Duties Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking areas as needed. Apply paint using spray guns, brushes, or rollers, ensuring an even and smooth finish. Perform buffing and polishing tasks to enhance the appearance of painted surfaces. Conduct vehicle maintenance tasks related to painting processes. Utilize power tools safely and effectively during the painting process. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Assist in auto estimating for paint jobs based on vehicle condition and customer specifications. Lift heavy materials as required during the painting process. Qualifications Proven experience in auto painting or a related field is preferred. Mechanical knowledge is essential for understanding vehicle systems and components. Familiarity with power tools and their safe operation is required. Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed throughout the workday. Experience in buffing techniques is a plus. Previous experience in a dealership environment is advantageous but not mandatory. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
