Lead Automotive Painter Confidential Marietta, GA 30060 Automotive Painter Jobs
- Marietta, Ga An automotive body shop located in Marietta, Ga.
Specializing in auto painting and light collision work. The painter will paint 6-8 vehicles per day that will range from smaller spot jobs up to overall paint jobs. Painter has to have single stage experience.
The painter will also monitor the quality of work delivered to the paint booth to ensure clean and defect-free paint jobs. The painter will also maintain the equipment and ensure routine services are performed to keep operating safely and efficiently.
- Job Responsibilities Match paint color and mix paint Check cars coming to paint line for defects Paint cars efficiently and as defect-free as possible with minimal waste Notify GM of any inventory shortages Maintain paint booth and paint mix room Train and develop backup painter(s) Provide technical advice and suggestions for improvements as defects are found coming into the paint line Other duties as assigned Skills and Qualifications Prior experience in auto painting is required Auto-painting (single stage and basecoat /clearcoat), paint mixing Experience in maintenance of paint guns, booth, mix room, and other equipment Communication and resolution of quality issues Axalta single-stage and BC/CC paint experience is preferred Painter must supply own guns or work out payment arrangement with
