Bainbridge, GA 39817 Overview We are seeking a skilled Industrial Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial painting and a strong understanding of various painting techniques and equipment. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring high-quality finishes on a variety of industrial products. The Industrial Painter will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with other team members to meet production goals while maintaining safety and quality standards. Duties Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary. Operate airless paint spraying equipment to apply coatings evenly and efficiently. Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate application and adherence to specifications. Conduct inspections of finished products to ensure quality standards are met. Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition, performing basic maintenance as needed. Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while adhering to safety protocols. Fabricate components as required for specific projects, demonstrating mechanical knowledge throughout the process. Assist in auto body repair tasks when necessary, applying painting skills to enhance product appearance. Skills Proficient in industrial painting techniques with experience in airless paint spraying. Strong mechanical knowledge and familiarity with machining processes. Ability to perform basic math calculations for precise measurements and material estimates. Experience in construction painting is a plus, enhancing versatility within the role. Capability to operate forklifts safely for material handling purposes is desirable. Knowledge of precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy in application processes.
