Your Role:

You will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process by utilizing your expertise in industrial coating techniques. Your primary responsibility will be applying liquid or powder coatings to various surfaces, ensuring a high-quality finish and meeting project specifications. This role involves surface preparation, paint application, quality inspection, and adherence to safety and environmental guidelines. This role will also operate sandblasting equipment to achieve specific surface profiles as required for painting.

Key Responsibilities:

Achieve specific surface profiles as required for wet & dry coating, sandblasting, and painting projects. Ensure proper curing or drying of painted surfaces, using appropriate equipment. Follow strict safety guidelines, wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE), and ensure proper ventilation. Inspect blasted and painted surfaces for defects, inconsistencies, or imperfections and perform touch-ups as needed. Set up and maintain sandblasting equipment, adjust pressure, and select appropriate abrasives. Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of paint booth equipment. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and project completion.

Skills:

Proven experience in powder coating role or similar preferred. Proficiency in operating painting equipment and applying coatings evenly. Knowledge of paint mixing, color matching, and formulation. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. High levels of organizational capability in a rapidly changing environment. Strong attention to detail and quality-oriented mindset. Knowledge of safety protocols and practices in a manufacturing environment.
