Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Industrial Painter/Fabricator to join our team. This position is responsible for preparing and painting metal structures and components, as well as assisting in the fabrication and assembly of parts according to specifications. The ideal candidate has experience with industrial painting equipment, metalworking tools, and the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

Painting Duties:

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary Apply industrial coatings (such as epoxy, polyurethane, enamel) using spray guns, rollers, or brushes Mix and match paint to achieve the desired color and finish Inspect finished surfaces for quality and make touch-ups as needed Follow safety procedures and ensure proper ventilation and PPE usage in painting areas

Fabrication Duties:

Assist in the cutting, bending, and assembly of metal components using saws, torches, grinders, welders, and other fabrication tools Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and technical drawings Use measuring tools to verify dimensions and tolerances Perform basic welding and tack-welding as needed Maintain clean and organized work areas and equipment

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required 2+ years of experience in industrial painting and/or metal fabrication preferred Proficiency with airless and conventional spray systems Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic welding techniques Ability to read blueprints and measuring devices Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Standing, bending, and working in various positions for extended periods Exposure to fumes, chemicals, and noise; proper PPE required
