Various Rotations Qualco needs your Blaster/Painter experience to help complete our construction projects safely and on time. If you’re a Blaster/Painter with Offshore experience and are looking for a great opportunity to make a change for the better, then please send us your CV/Résumé. Ideal candidates will be local to Guyana, though others with a work visa may be considered. Responsibilities and Duties Spray paint and sandblast heavy equipment, using spray gun and sandblasting equipment to clean grease, dirt, old paint, and rust from equipment.
Use solvent, water, rags, brushes, pneumatic wire brush, and chipping hammer to clean and prepare surfaces for painting.
Apply paper and masking tape to protect unpainted surfaces, such as windows and trim
Stencil lettering and other identifying information according to specifications
Select paint according to company color scheme and specifications
Disassembles paint and sandblasting equipment and cleans equipment, using solvent, wire brushes, and dry cloth
Work with trades and services, giving them assistance as needed.
