Schedule:
3 weeks on, 2 weeks off The Blaster/Painter will prepare surfaces and apply paint in accordance with Mistras, Client, and Industry specific standards and best practices.
Experience in:
Abrasive blasting UHP blasting Power tooling Brush and roll painting Airless spray Conventional spray Suspended scaffold Spider operator Mixing paint
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES
Safely and efficiently use blasting and cleaning techniques in the preparation of surfaces for coating Properly prepare surfaces for paint as well as mixing and applying paint, as directed Act in accordance with with applicable practices, policies, and procedures, when painting and/or blasting. Must utilize appropriate personal protective equipment when painting and/or blasting, as directed. Must maintain all equipment in good working condition.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or GED preferred Must be able to work offshore in harsh environments on a rotation or call-out basis.
