Description:
Overall Purpose of the Job
Responsible for painting manufactured items for field-ready use and assit with aassembling mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment and systems. Key Activities and Accountabilities
Preparing parts for painting by masking surfaces that are not to be painted
Bringing the parts into the paint booth for coating, priming and painting the parts as required
Removing the parts from the paint booth and removing any masking that was necessary prior to painting
Assist with assembly, trouble shooting, installation, testing, of mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment Job Knowledge and Qualifications
Basic understanding of painting techniques and painting materials
Knowledge of automated painting system components such as a spray gun and agitator.
Prior experience with paint systems and prepping of parts is a must. Forklift operation and overhead cranes.
Ability to read/use manuals, guidelines, drawings.
