Summary We are seeking an Industrial Blaster / Painter to join our team at MADCON Corporation. In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint and protective coatings to various surfaces in accordance with industry standards. Your work will be essential in ensuring the longevity and safety of our marine structures. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, or applying primers as necessary. Utilize airless paint spraying techniques to apply coatings efficiently. Measure and mix paints according to specifications for optimal results. Inspect finished work to ensure quality standards are met before project completion. Maintain tools and equipment used in painting processes to ensure safety and efficiency. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to safety protocols. Requirements SSPC C7 and C12 certification or NCCER Industrial Coating & Lining Application Specialist Minimum 5 years field experience Proven experience as an industrial painter or similar role in a manufacturing or construction environment. Strong knowledge of precision measuring instruments and hand tools. Familiarity with airless paint spraying techniques is essential. Ability to read technical documents and follow instructions accurately. Basic understanding of machining or welding is a plus but not required. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
