POSITION SUMMARY

- The Gelcoat A position applies gel coat to production hull and deck molds, liners, and small parts by using hand operated spray equipment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
_
- + Performs pre-spray check of spray equipment and material to ensure proper operation and appropriate color.
+ Performs final cleaning of mold surfaces with a tack cloth. + Operates spray gun to apply various coats of gel coat to the molds. Specific amounts of gel coat must be applied and measured with a mil gauge. Specifications as to percentage of coverage of gelcoat are required and checked visually + Performs daily cleaning and minor maintenance routines on the spray guns. + Maintains clean, safe, and hazard free work area. + ALL
