Chipton-Ross is seeking 120 CL
PAINTER/BLASTER 1ST
for an opportunity in Pascagoula, MS.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Painters have the responsibility to perform blasting and painting utilizing marine coating to specified contract requirements.
Understanding of blasting and painting specifications including but not limited to blast profiles, millage requirements, etc.
Perform blasting and painting applications as directed by supervision.
Testing will consist of the ability to hook up airlines to the manifold and spray horizontally, vertically, and side to side. Able to sandblast and demonstrate how to utilize each part of the blast equipment.
Must be able to perform all blast requirements and functions utilizing all applications. Identify and correct blast and paint deficiencies as required by the contract specifications.
Job Requirements:
Requires a minimum of 3 or more years of experience as a painter/blaster.
A skill assessment will be a written and hands-on test.
High School diploma or equivalent. Schools must be accredited.
HOURS:
5/40, workweek.
1st, 2nd, 3rd shift.
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to the start date.
