Responsibilities:

Buffing, sanding, taping, priming, and painting as required for body shop repair jobs Visually detect and focus on imperfections, both close and at a distance, and identify variance in colors. Complete paint preparation, including color matching and mixing Complete minor repairs, including sanding and grinding Maintain clean spray booth, prep area, and mixing room Sanding, masking, priming, and preparation of vehicles for the paint process Complete paint application Perform other duties as assigned High School diploma or equivalent A valid Driver’s License is required Must possess proficient verbal and written communication skills, technical skills, and functional skills Must be able to provide excellent customer service Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and other web-based programs Previous body shop paint and/or repair experience is preferred Possess an understanding of body fabrication and the ability to work with body fillers Must be able to understand how to properly use and maintain all equipment and materials used for painting Ability to operate all equipment/hand or power tools necessary for this position efficiently and safely
