This candidate will move the product to and from the paint booth to the designated area. Some of the job duties performed will include: Prepping various substrates/surfaces such as aluminum, steel, polycarbonate, etc. Cleaning surfaces and prepping for painting Sanding bondo, masking, priming Positioning parts in safe areas and ensuring the parts are labeled with correct job order number Maintaining a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations Qualifications, education, and requirements for the Painter/ Prepper position include:

Hours:

6:00 am – 2:30pm Minimum two years of experience painting and prepping required either in the sign or automotive industries Ability to be on feet for most of the workday and perform repetitive tasks Great attention to detail and quality Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Good attendance required Be self-motivated; and high energy for fast pace environment Must be able to work in a warehouse environment; heat/cold Must be able to lift 50lbs Must be able to use a ladder when necessary ability to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch,reach, grasp, arm, hand and finger dexterity Will be required to use and follow Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) requirements Contributes to a team effort to meet or exceed deadlines Must be able to work overtime, including weekends when necessary Must have reliable transportation High School Diploma or equivalent Come join the Atlas Sign Industries Team today!
