The ideal candidate will have experience in various painting techniques, including construction and auto painting, and will be responsible for preparing surfaces and applying paint to industrial equipment and structures. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work with precision measuring instruments. Duties Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, masking, or grinding as required. Mix and apply paints, primers, and coatings using spray guns or other approved techniques. Inspect surfaces for cleanliness and proper finish according to specifications. Maintain proper functioning and cleanliness of painting equipment and spray booths. Maintain accurate records of paint batches, materials used, and daily production output. Collaborate with production and quality control teams to meet manufacturing standards and timelines. Identify and report any defects, irregularities, or safety concerns to supervisors. Assist with inventory control of paints, thinners, and related materials. Requirements 1-3 years of experience in industrial painting (preferred). Knowledge of various painting techniques, including electrostatic and HVLP. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations and hazardous material handling. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.
