A growing steel products manufacturer in North Brunswick, NJ is expanding operations with the launch of a new paint shop facility. We are currently seeking experienced and motivated Industrial Painters to join the team and contribute to this exciting phase of growth.

Job Summary:

As an Industrial Painter, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces and applying coatings to steel components using various industrial painting methods. You will also support the setup and daily operation of the newly established paint facility, ensuring all work meets high standards for quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare steel surfaces using methods such as blasting, grinding, or sanding. Apply primers, coatings, and finishes using spray guns or other tools. Operate and maintain paint shop equipment, blasting systems, and safety tools. Assist in the layout, setup, and operation of the new paint shop. Conduct inspections to ensure finished products meet specifications. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications:

Experience in industrial painting, preferably in steel or heavy manufacturing environments. Familiarity with paint shop operations and blasting equipment is a strong plus. Ability to read blueprints, work orders, and technical documentation. Strong attention to detail and a safety-first mindset. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
