In this auxiliary position, you will first learn and perform aspects of prepping and painting truck bodies of all sizes. This requires sanding while on a ladder, using a power sander and respirator. We are expanding our operations and this person will run their own paint shop at our 2nd paint shop this summer which is under construction. Primarily spraying, but prepping when needed. Pay for this position can start anywhere from $24.00 to $29.00 or even more depending on your experience working in a professional paint shop and your ability to learn our business. Prepping :

Fill depressions with body filler and (or) Prepare vehicles surfaces for painting. File, grind and sand fabricated surfaces Prep surfaces for paint shop including washing before and after process removing overspray Perform misc. tasks as assigned by Supervisor Must be able to lift 40lbs without assistance Must adhere to all site specific EHS safety plans and policies including respirator use when necessary.
