General Summary:

Under generalsupervision, responsible for completion of all aspects of the paintpreparation process. On as needed basis, responsible for CosmeticReconditioning Associate II, Flow Inventory Associate II duties.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Complete body repairs,including masking, sanding, and grinding Apply primer Remove andreplace parts Repair plastic and substrate damage Post-paintrefinish and defect correction Ensure that all vehicles meet CarMaxPaint Standards Maintain, repair, and clean special equipmentEnsure workplace cleanliness and organization in accordance withCarMax 5S standards Provide outstanding customer service to bothinternal and external customers Complete duties as assigned by

Position requires the followingpre-requisites and ability: New Associate Orientation Training -Operations Accountable to Associate 1 Competency Model KronosTraining for Hourly Associates Meet Cosmetic ReconditioningAssociate II and Flow Inventory Associate II Performance StandardsComplete Cosmetic Reconditioning Associate II, Flow InventoryAssociate II, and Senior Reconditioning Associate WorkstationCertifications Read, interpret, and transcribe data in order tomaintain accurate records Perform multiple duties in a high-energy,fast-paced environment Lift objects that weigh as much as 50lbsSpeak and listen effectively in dealing with customers/associates,both in person and over the phone Complete CarMax provided trainingin all functional areas of the inventory process, allowing forcross-training and full coverage of the inventory and detail area

Working Conditions:

Indoor and outdoor environments may includeworking at times in noisy and/or inclement weather conditions.

Requires walking or standing for extended periods of time. Variablework schedules with shifts that may include nights, weekends,holidays, and 12-hour days. Wears CarMax clothing (acquired throughthe company) at all times working in the store. Follow all CarMax,O.S.H.A., and EPA standards, including the use of PersonalProtective Equipment and proper waste disposal in required areas.
