Qualifications:

• U.S. Person
• Valid Driver’s License
• Must Live in or around Charleston, SC (no relocation will be provided)
• Able to pass Background check.
• Drug free, can pass pre-employment testing.
• Have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years of related painting experience.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment.
• Capable of interpreting a material safety data sheet or product data sheet.
• Understand and follow detailed directions.
• Skilled in use of various airless paint sprayer, pressure pot, HVLP, gravity fed paint guns to include set up/tear down/maintenance.
• Skilled in use of Blasting Equipment to include set up/tear down/maintenance.
• Able to make decisions and work independently.
• Perform work in a Safe Manner in accordance with OSHA and Company Safety Policies as well as per location regulations.
• Able to operate proficiently Manlift, forklift.
• Able and willing to work at heights.
• Able and willing to travel ( hotel and per diem provided).
• Maintains work area/equipment in a neat and orderly manner and reports potential hazards.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, chipping, needle gun, sandblasting, sanding or any other methods required.
• Mix paint per manufacturer’s specifications.
• Apply paint using various techniques such as brush, roller, or various spray gun applications.
• Ensure proper coverage and finish quality
• Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate protective equipment.
• Maintain painting equipment and tools.
• Work with team members to complete projects on time.
