KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Clean and prepare surfaces. (Masking, grit blasting or chemical prep)
Prepare paints. A high degree of accuracy is required. Use of viscosity cups, thickness gauges and gloss gauges to test makeup of paint and an understanding of chemistry mix of compounds is required
Clean work area. Knowledgeable in the safe handling and disposal of hazardous chemicals and waste
Maintain equipment. You will be responsible for maintaining paint equipment and troubleshooting
Experience in high-end paint prepping. Sign industry experience preferred
Painters’ only – Experience using industrial spray guns, including setup, operation, and basic maintenance
Other duties as required
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Experience using industrial spray guns, including setup, operation, and basic maintenance
Experience in a fast-paced, high-production work environment
Read, write, and speak English
Self-motivated and work well in a team and independently
COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
May also engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing and pulling of parts and part containers
Ability to be fitted for a Respirator, both Medically and Physically
Others as deemed required by company to be safe for your role
