Essential Job Functions:

Perform duties associated with painting to include mixing and matching paint, preparing and testing panels, and monitoring of painting operations. Ensure quality paint repairs through prepping, blending formulas, top coat application, and curing. Identify cause and correct any deficiencies that may occur during the painting process including blistering and streaking. Meet our OE and I-CAR standards. Operate a variety of hand and power tools (e.g. air sprayers, sanders, etc.) Follow protocols provided for repairs. Prep vehicles for painting as necessary. Strong, consistent attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to communicate. Positive, can-do attitude with the desire to work in a team setting. Comply with all JHCC safety rules, guidelines, and standards. Must be able to perform all physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.

Necessary Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Extensive knowledge of performing high-quality paint repairs using up-to-date methods. Ability to use all power tools required to perform position. Must be able to understand verbal and/or written instructions related to repairs, ask follow-up questions and communicate clearly any obstacles with meeting deadlines and/or standards.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Prior auto body painting experience required. Experience with extensive paint repairs.
