Missions:

Ensure HSE policies are deployed and followed Coachand develop team to deliver maximum efficiency in all areasFollows, stabilises and optimises paint processes and resultsParticipates in new product / process (paint line, robots) launchesPerformance Indicators Number of accident or near misses related topaint area External & internal quality (PPM of parts) Paint rightfirst time (% RFT) Paint scrap (%) Paint Overall EquipmentEffectiveness (OEE) Paint consumption efficiency Process IndicatorsRisk assessments, top safety interviews Process and control planadherence (PPCM) RFT golden rules

Paint Assessment Activities:

Works according to HSE requirements (LOTO, cleaning…) and promotesafety mindset on day to day basis Ensures safety and securityconditions are kept in order within the paint line, alertmanagement in case of any non-conformity or deviance Implementspaint standards and exchanges within painting networks bestpractices Controls and optimizes process parameters Stabilizes andoptimizes painting area performance (paint consumption, scrapsreduction) Tests and validates technical solutions (OPTIPROprojects, changes in the plant, equipment supplier) Analysesprocess failures Supports new projects launches in line withOPTIMAP requirements Participates in continuous improvementactivities and productivity covering all process areas- cycletimes, scrap, downtime, machine / tools and energy Participates inpaint assessment. Develops the paint processes and systems ensuringa framework that will achieve world-class standards of quality andservice to the customer and to achieve environmental compliance.

Own the paint process FMEA and make sure that standardized workpractices are being used. Establishes effective communicationchannels with the team and its people so as to realize theirKnowledge and full potential and to make sure that they are workingto the same common business goals. Continually develops/drives thepaint tech team to deliver best in class processes and standards.

Own the technical integrity of paint database and supportsintroduction plans into plant painting area Ensures qualitystandards are maintained by the paint tech team. Designs andjustifies new improvements and equipment to reduce downtime andincrease productivity. Works with other departments to support andsolves joint problems – injection, assembly. Participates in painttechnicians’ recruitment to assess technical abilities. May trainand coach paint technicians and operators May program robots orlead paint robots programmers Put in place effective visualmanagement Competences requirements: BS in engineering orequivalent work experience Proven record of delivering results,problem solving and application skills Minimum of 5 years’experience in paint application field Process orientated withexperience of painted plastics parts, equipment management androbots programming knowledge Experience in a large manufacturingenvironment, with a background to problem solving, deployment ofindustrial standards and best practices “Lean” application toproducts, processes and flows Open to new concepts and innovationwith application to problem solving and productivity improvementutilising data and analytical orientated tools AIAG Core ToolsDedication to safety Internal and external customer orientationGood communicator with strong leadership skills
