Painter Volunteer Paint, LLC 217 E Fort Street, Manchester, TN 37355 Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various painting techniques and a strong understanding of materials and tools used in both industrial and construction environments. This role requires attention to detail, precision, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary. Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate application and finish quality. Operate power tools and equipment safely while adhering to all safety protocols. Handle materials efficiently to minimize waste and ensure quality results. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while maintaining high standards of workmanship. Perform maintenance on painting equipment and keep work areas clean and organized. Assist in auto body repair when required, ensuring a seamless finish on vehicles. Experience Proven experience in industrial painting or construction painting is preferred. Familiarity with crane operation is a plus. Strong mechanical knowledge and experience with materials handling are essential. Experience with lean manufacturing principles is beneficial. Ability to work with various power tools effectively and safely. Previous experience in warehouse settings is advantageous but not mandatory.
