Paint Tech Position Available In Davidson, Tennessee

Paint Tech All-Star Maintenance Company LLC Nashville, TN 37227 We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Paint Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing surfaces, mixing and applying paints or coatings, and ensuring high-quality finishes that meet company and client specifications. This role requires a strong eye for detail, solid technical knowledge of painting materials and processes, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, masking, and priming as needed Mix and apply paints, coatings, or finishes using spray guns, brushes, or rollers Inspect surfaces and finishes for quality, touch up as necessary Maintain paint booths, tools, and equipment in clean and operational condition Follow all safety protocols, including proper handling of hazardous materials Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, or color match requirements Record and report job details, including materials used and time spent Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure timely project completion

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certification preferred Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in painting or coating application (automotive, industrial, or similar fields) Familiarity with paint mixing, spray equipment, and surface preparation techniques Ability to match colors and maintain consistency in finish Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in standing positions for extended periods
