Duties Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary. Operate power tools and hand tools for painting tasks, ensuring safety protocols are followed. Utilize airless paint spraying equipment to apply paint evenly and efficiently. Fabricate parts as needed for specific projects, maintaining quality throughout the process. Perform industrial painting tasks, including touch-ups and repairs on various materials. Collaborate with team members to ensure lean manufacturing practices are adhered to, optimizing workflow and minimizing waste. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored after use. Follow all safety guidelines and regulations related to painting operations. Skills Experience in warehouse operations is preferred. Proficiency with power tools and hand tools is essential for executing various tasks effectively. Familiarity with forklift operation is a plus for moving materials safely within the facility. Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise. Previous experience in industrial painting or auto body repair is highly desirable. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated. Understanding of lean manufacturing principles to enhance productivity and efficiency.
