Paint Technician 3.6 3.6 out of 5 stars 1821 Childress Rd, Lewisburg, TN 37091 Main Responsibilities Performs Daily and/or hourly checks on select equipment Help maintain a safe work environment Perform basic robot movements to perform PMs Perform Basic repairs Fill out work requests for maintenance work needed Maintain a very clean work environment Paint wet film checks Working within the paint line / mixing room Maximizing efficiencies while ensuring quality Control paint mixing / changeovers Inventory control Keep paint mixing room neat and clean 6S of area Follow standard operating procedures when using tools and equipment such as dual action sanders and paint sprayers Follow standard operating procedures when using sealants, paint strippers and corrosion-preventive chemicals and use protective equipment as required
Qualifications Education Background:
Middle School (Preferred or equivalent experience)
Working Experience:
1 year in the position or similar (manufacturing experience preferred)
Language:
English Advanced Knowledge & Skill:
Excellent verbal/written communication, Understand and follow all quality, safety, and environmental processes and procedures, hazardous waste management.
Personality & Abilities:
Must be able to climb ladders and stairs, Communication, Organization Specific certifications (Job Position & Customer requirements): No required
