The ideal candidate will have a strong background in shoe construction and repair, with the ability to provide excellent customer service. This role involves working with various fabrics and leather materials, utilizing sewing machines, and ensuring that all repairs meet high-quality standards. The Repair Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining customer satisfaction through timely and effective repairs. Duties Perform alterations and repairs on shoes and boots, ensuring high-quality workmanship. Operate sewing machines and other equipment necessary for shoe repair. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns regarding repairs. Utilize basic math skills to measure and calculate fabric requirements for alterations. Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure efficiency and safety. Collaborate with team members to improve repair processes and customer satisfaction. Qualifications Proven experience in shoe repair is preferred. Proficiency in sewing techniques, including the ability to sew various types of fabrics. Familiarity with shoe construction principles. Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
