The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that garments are impeccably pressed and presented to our customers. This position requires a strong commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, making it essential for maintaining the high standards of our establishment. Duties Operate pressing machines and equipment to remove wrinkles and creases from garments. Inspect garments for quality assurance, ensuring they meet company standards before delivery to customers. Launder items as needed, adhering to specific care instructions for different fabrics. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are in good working condition. Provide excellent customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns regarding garment care. Handle cash transactions accurately using a cash register, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks. Skills Previous experience in a hotel or dry cleaning environment is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and providing accurate change. Attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and quality in garment presentation. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of work. Familiarity with laundry processes and fabric care is advantageous. A background in hospitality can enhance customer interactions and service delivery.
