Description:
Our boutique accessories brand is seeking a motivated, hands-on individual to join our small workshop setting in Saint Louis County. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, pays attention to detail, and is eager to learn a new craft in a creative environment. No leather experience necessary
- we will train the right candidate.
Responsibilities Include:
- Cutting and dyeing leather
- Sanding and finishing edges
- Skiving leather
- Using basic cutting tools
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace
- Assisting with production and small-batch runs
Preferred Skills:
- Woodworking or maker background is a plus
- Experience with basic shop tools (drill press, sander, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Willingness to learn and grow within the studio
Compensation:
- $12/hour to start
- Lots of room for growth for the right candidate
- Opportunity to move into a more material and creative role over time
- Hours may range from part-time to full-time depending on studio workload
Requirements:
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be punctual and responsible
- Ability to work independently and take direction We’re a small, creative team and looking for someone who’s excited to be part of a hands-on, detail-oriented studio.
