Industrial Controls Technician Role:
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plant equipment and systems. Troubleshoot and repair electrical/electronic systems including PLCs, VFDs, contactors, and PCs. Work on systems up to 480V and support mechanical and building maintenance as needed. Participate in process improvements, installations, and equipment upgrades. Maintain accurate documentation, support inventory management, and liaise with vendors. Provide mentorship to team members and respond to emergency call-ins when required.
Industrial Controls Technician Requirements:
3-5 years of experience in an industrial maintenance role with a strong electrical/electronic focus. Proficiency in PLCs, VFDs, diagnostics tools, and control system software. Ability to read blueprints/diagrams and utilize CMMS and Microsoft Office applications. Strong communication, organizational, and vendor management skills. Commitment to safety and continuous learning.
