Job Description
Summary:
Seeking a Controls Systems Technician to support engineering teams in the preparation, configuration, and testing of control systems for industrial gas turbines.
Requirements:
Associate’s degree in electrical engineering technology or related field, or equivalent experience. Familiarity with PLCs, DCS, HMIs, sensors, and actuators. Proficient in diagnostic tools such as signal generators and digital multimeters.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with advanced process control (APC) and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA). Understanding of root cause analysis processes.
Job Responsibilities:
Design and review new control system concepts. Maintain and modify existing systems. Develop testing procedures based on system configuration. Perform Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs). Support on-site installation and troubleshooting. Travel for local panel shop visits and potential overnight trips.
