Yes – Frequent travel to client sites About the Role We are seeking a skilled and motivated Controls Engineer/Technician to join our dynamic team. In this advanced industrial electrical role, you’ll support the commissioning and troubleshooting of control systems at client sites, working closely with Integration Engineers. You’ll gain hands-on experience with industry-leading PLC platforms such as Allen-Bradley, Siemens, and Beckhoff, and play a key role in ensuring successful project delivery. This position requires a proactive problem-solver who thrives under pressure, communicates effectively with stakeholders, and is comfortable working independently in diverse environments—from manufacturing floors to entertainment venues and airports. Key Responsibilities Travel to client sites to perform PLC troubleshooting and commissioning tasks. Collaborate with lead Integration Engineers to ensure seamless project execution. Interface with internal teams and external clients to resolve technical issues efficiently. Conduct basic PLC programming and panel wiring. Maintain a clean, organized, and functional workspace at the facility. Adapt to various work environments and schedules, including nights and weekends as needed. Required Skills & Experience Strong experience in electrical troubleshooting and control systems. Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and producing electrical prints. Hands-on experience building control panels from schematics. Familiarity with PLC systems and ability to troubleshoot and make edits. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in industrial automation or process control environments. High school diploma or Associate’s degree in a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience. Experience with AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical. Proficiency in PLC software such as Studio 5000orRSLogix 5000. Excellent communication skills and ability to remain composed under pressure. Willingness to travel on short notice and work flexible hours.
