$20 - 30/hr, DOE The Valve Technician is responsible for operating in a shop environment using technical knowledge and skills to assemble and build semi-complex assemblies.
Installs, configures, performs problem determination and maintains products and equipment in a shop environment, following blueprints and manufacturer’s instructions, utilizing product and technical knowledge of equipment. Repairs or coordinates repair of worn or defective products or equipment. Perform skilled, technical work in the design, installation, testing, calibration, maintenance, and repair for assigned product or process.
Job Description:
Builds, tests, troubleshoots, repairs and modifies valves, parts, components, and automated valve assemblies.
Tests and documents manual and automated valves.
Ability to read and interpret customer specifications.
Provides expertise related to product implementation and continued service.
Provides technical solutions and design implementations for products and services.
Diagnoses and troubleshoots malfunctions and valve related issues.
Learns and understands particular technical equipment; attends training and completes certification as required.
Usually in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors causing moderate physical discomfort from such things as dust, fumes or odors.
Must continuously stand or walk or regularly requires lifting/handling/carrying material or equipment of moderate weight (8
- 20 pounds).

Requirements to be considered: 2 years’ experience.
HS Diploma or GED required. Specialized skills training/certification may be required. Have knowledge and understanding of motor control circuits and control systems
Have experience using overhead cranes, fork lifts, hand tooling.
Knowledge, understanding, and can interpret wiring schematics. Must pass a Drug Screen & have a clear Background.
