The ideal candidate will have a strong background in low voltage systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various systems such as HVAC control, lighting control, fire alarms, CCTV, and intrusion detection systems (IDS). This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to read and interpret schematics. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair low voltage systems including fire alarms, CCTV systems, and IDS. Conduct system design and configuration according to project specifications. Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) standards during installations. Troubleshoot system issues and perform necessary repairs or adjustments. Collaborate with other technicians and contractors to ensure successful project completion. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding system operations and maintenance. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory management. Skills Proven experience as a service technician in low voltage systems. Strong understanding of IDS, fire alarm systems, CCTV installation, and maintenance. Proficient in reading schematics and technical drawings. Solid mechanical knowledge related to low voltage equipment. Familiarity with telecommunication systems is a plus. Relevant certifications in low voltage technology or related fields are preferred. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
