Full Job Description Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer / Controls Technician to support ongoing automation and control systems projects. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in troubleshooting industrial automation equipment , working with PLC systems , particularly Allen-Bradley , and developing or modifying ladder logic programs .

Key Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to PLCs, HMIs, sensors, actuators, and control panels. Program, modify, and debug PLC logic, primarily using Allen-Bradley platforms and ladder logic . Support installation, testing, and commissioning of control systems. Work closely with electrical and mechanical teams to integrate automation systems with equipment. Maintain and update system documentation, wiring diagrams, and ladder logic schematics. Ensure all systems comply with safety standards and company procedures. Assist with preventative maintenance and upgrades of control systems and software. Respond to equipment failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.

Required Qualifications:

Diploma/ITI/B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Automation, or related field. 3-6 years of hands-on experience in industrial automation or controls engineering. Proficiency in Allen-Bradley PLCs (Logix 5000, RSLogix 500/5000). Strong knowledge of ladder logic programming and troubleshooting. Familiarity with

HMI/SCADA

systems (FactoryTalk, Wonderware, etc.). Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and control panel layouts.
