Anticipated Hiring Range:

$56,201.60 – $71,656.00 Job Duties GUC is seeking a skilled Facilities Controls Technician to support the operation, maintenance, and repair of critical building systems across our facilities. This role involves advanced troubleshooting, calibration, and repair of HVAC systems using computerized diagnostic tools, along with integrated control systems for other BMS and life safety systems. The Facilities Controls Technician completes work orders of varying complexity and provides technical support to the Facilities Control Supervisor. Key responsibilities include evaluating system performance, coordinating with contractors, updating work orders in the maintenance management system, and occasionally leading small teams. The role also includes general facility tasks such as repairing lighting fixtures, restoring power, addressing leaks, and supporting inventory planning. Ideal candidates will have strong diagnostic skills, a hands-on approach, and experience with building automation and life safety systems, playing a key role in maintaining safe, efficient operations across all GUC facilities. Minimum Requirements Over five (5) years of experience in the HVAC field Universal EPA Refrigeration Certification At least three (3) years of experience in building automation systems. HVAC Controls is preferred. Associate’s degree Valid Driver’s License Anticipated work schedule is Monday – Thursday from 6:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Applications for this position will be accepted until filled.
