Accentuate Staffing is assisting a growing industrial automationcontrols company in the Raleigh area who is hiring an AutomationControls Technician to install, troubleshoot, and maintenancebuilding automation systems. This is a direct hire opportunity.

Responsibilities:

This role requires upwards of 75% daily travel tovarious job sites Install, maintain, and repair industrialequipment at customer sites, including various Electrical ControlSystems (PLC, VFD, SCADA, etc.) Troubleshoot and diagnose equipmentissues, performing necessary repairs Respond to customer servicecalls, providing technical support over the phone or on-site Traincustomers on the use and maintenance of equipment Provide input toimprove production and performance

Requirements:

2-5 years ofindustrial automation installation experience Strong knowledge ofAllen-Bradley and Siemens PLC controllers and HMIs Proficientinstalling, commissioning, and maintaining industrial controlsystems Ability to read and interpret technical manuals,schematics, and logics Must have working knowledge of UL508A andNEC codes Knowledge of various SCADA software such as Ignition,FactoryTalk View, etc. Familiarity with DCS systems likeFactoryTalk View, ControlLogix, etc. Experience with motion controlsystems and troubleshooting field wiring Experience with Python forscripting and automation Valid driver’s license and clean drivingrecord Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and tools Must bea team player, self-motivated, and able to work without beingmicro-managed
