SUMMARY:
Repairs and maintains machinery, robots/automated cells, and mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment such as engines, motors, pumps, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines and equipment by performing the following duties while ensuring that work is in accordance with relevant codes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides maintenance support for production operations. Respond to emergencies in utilities or breakdowns of production equipment using a variety of trade tools, gauges, measuring devices, bench equipment and shop machines to perform the work. Plan, layout, install, repair, and maintain complex electrical; and electronic production and plant equipment; lines and systems. Work from drawings, codes, specifications; operational, spare parts, and maintenance manuals, work orders, and instructions. Observes, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repairs malfunctioning production equipment and associated devices in a timely manner. Trouble shoots and repairs electrical equipment. Dismantles equipment to gain access to and remove defective parts. Required to accurately generate parts requests and complete preventative maintenance worksheets in a timely manner. Generate and complete work orders as assigned. Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments. Repairs or replaces defective parts. Lubricates and cleans parts. Start devices to test their performance and safety. Comply with good manufacturing practices (GMP). Safety program and support audit standards. Use your knowledge and skills to continuously improve the operation, efficiency, and product quality of the Hutchinson brands. Identifies and records any problems relating to the product, process, and quality system. Initiates, recommends, or provides solutions through designated channels. Verifies the implementation of solutions. Control further processing, delivery or installation of nonconforming product until the deficiency or unsatisfactory activities, including internal quality audits.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or GED Minimum 5 years of electrical/mechanical industrial maintenance experience required. Prove mechanical and electrical diagnostic/troubleshooting skills in a high-speed industrial environment. Must proficiently troubleshoot, operate, and train others on all major production and support equipment. Demonstrate strong mechanical, electrical, and technical aptitude. Ability to identify defective parts and materials. Advanced computer skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Must demonstrate Advanced Electrical troubleshooting skills (PLC, Servos, PID, VFD, RS Logix, Devicenet, etc.). Fabricate basic parts using shop tools and machines (Lathe, Mill, Drill Press, etc.). Must be flexible to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays or occasional overtime as necessary.
