Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Art Framer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for art and a keen eye for detail. As an Art Framer, you will be responsible for framing artwork and prints, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. • Frame artwork and prints using various framing techniques and materials.
• Assist customers in selecting frames and mats to enhance their artwork.
• Provide product demos and answer questions about our framing products.
• Operate a cash register and handle cash transactions accurately.
• Utilize POS systems to process sales and manage inventory.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of framing techniques, materials, and current trends.
• Conduct basic math calculations to ensure accurate transactions.
• Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when answering customer inquiries.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment and meet sales targets.
• Collaborate with other team members to achieve store goals and maintain a clean and organized store.
• Identify and capitalize on sales opportunities to increase revenue. Experience
• Previous experience in framing or a related field is beneficial, as is retail management experience.
• Experience with retail sales and customer service is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of framing techniques, materials, and current trends is required.
• Cash handling and basic math skills are necessary.
• Experience with POS systems is an asset.
• A passion for art and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service are essential.
