Custom Woodworker Position Available In Bartow, Georgia

Custom Woodworker Placesmart Agency 10 Legacy Way, Adairsville, GA 30103 PlaceSmart Agency Our client is looking for skilled Woodworkers to join their custom woodworking department and help with lamination. As a Woodworker, you will be an integral part of their operations, contributing to the creation and restoration of various wooden structures. This role requires precision, creativity, and a passion for woodworking.

Requirements:

• Experience with basic hand and power tools and machines
• including routers/saws/sanders/banders/etc
• Ability to read plan and work orders to deliver custom items to the finishing department on schedule
• Ability and initiative to learn new techniques and skills for the products we build
• Solid problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to think critically and find innovative solutions.
• Possess a strong attention to detail
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with managers, department heads and other team members.
• Ability to work timely, proficiently and safely

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift a minimum of 35 pounds safely
• Must be able to stand on hard surfaces for long periods of time
• Must be able to tolerate and work safely with glues and solvents

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Work under a department head to build, assemble, or laminate custom cabinetry, wood components or millwork
• Communicate with production manager on timelines, maintenance, department tools needed
• Oversee that the department is kept clean, tools and equipment are being well maintained, and weekly cleaning assignments are properly cared for
• Assist in overall quality control and accuracy
• Understand and proactively work towards weekly deadlines Ensure time card is coded properly

Schedule:

• 8 Hour Shift (Monday-Friday)

• 4:00PM
