King Street, Downtown Charleston, SC Craft-DIY (pronounced Crafty) is a DIY arts & crafts studio located on King Street in downtown Charleston. Our studio also has a bar serving beer, wine, and specialty cocktails. We are looking for a creative, self-motivated, and outgoing individual to join the Craft-DIY team as our Lead Studio Associate and support management. What is Craft-DIY? DIY craft and design meet sophistication. Craft-DIY is an arts & crafts studio unlike any others. Our studio offers a modern space for adults who want to create a stylish DIY project in a lively and upscale atmosphere. Our studio’s vibrant ambiance is enhanced with a curated playlist of upbeat music and signature cocktails. Yes, we have a bar! Craft-DIY offers craft & design projects in various genres, not simply one concept, such as canvas painting, ceramics, or wood sign making. From custom jewelry to home décor, Craft-DIY’s project options are both functional and beautiful. Our mission is to provide an entertaining place for friends & family to enjoy an afternoon or evening out while socializing and creating a take-home DIY project that you can display, wear, or share proudly. Responsibilities:

• Love for arts & crafts and creativity
• Strong leadership skills; self-motivated, strategic thinker, problem-solver, decision-maker, adaptable, able to multi-task efficiently. Excellent communication, training, and mentoring skills
• Great customer service skills: Cater to guest needs- address questions, problems/issues promptly and effectively, delivering solutions that ensure a positive and satisfying guest experience
• Drive workshop & retail product sales through effective promotion and customer engagement
• Design and create art & craft projects for the project menu that meet the standards of the Craft-DIY brand
• Oversee project workshops: planning, preparation, and guest service at each workshop
• Assist Studio Manager with daily tasks as needed; Monitor inventory levels and proactively inform the Studio Manager of supply needs; maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing studio environment

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in retail/restaurant or similar

Pay:

Hourly, plus tips. Starting rate based on experience

Hours:

40 hours per week; must have weekend & night availability
