Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Finishing Technician to join our production team. This role involves preparing wood components for final finishing through sanding, hand spraying, and operating our automated spray machine. The ideal candidate is dependable, quality-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Sand wood parts by hand and/or with power tools to prepare for finishing Apply stains and finishes using HVLP spray equipment and hand-spraying techniques Operate automated spray machine with precision and care Inspect finished components for consistency, smoothness, and quality Mix and prepare finishing materials according to specifications Maintain clean and organized finishing area and equipment Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate protective equipment Communicate effectively with production team to meet daily goals
Qualifications:
Experience in wood finishing, painting, or similar field preferred Familiarity with spray equipment and sanding tools Ability to work independently and maintain high-quality standards Attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented attitude
